Scattered
"Scattered" is one of two songs Christian has come up with. A cool, almost Stones vibe (Freak style, of course) together with a wildly entertaining mid section (featuring leads by sax player Paul Lachenardiere and keyboard man Anders Häggebrant) makes it quite original. Two pretty well known chords from a song by a guy called Jimi Hendrix is hidden somewhere in the piece as well as an inspired ad lib by a mysterious drummer.
Lyrics:
Waking up in pieces
On Monday noon
Iīm a burdon to myself
Gonna to crack real soon

My armour, my shield
The food for my greed
I thought I knew when it was time to quit
But only in my mind
Guess you donīt know your own kind

Guess I failed to walk along
My tactics were just wrong
Only in my mind
Iīll make it the next time
Donīt tell me the stories

Bring out the wine
Turn on your ecstasy, ecstasy
Bring out the wine
Bring out my enemy, my enemy

Thought I made mistakes
That I had a full view
If you had your doubts
Iīd beat the hell out of you

Your cheering smiles
Were hatred in disguise
You didnīt dare to pay the price
But it was only in my mind
Guess you donīt know your own kind

Guess I failed to walk along
My tactics were just wrong
Only in my mind
Iīll make it the next time
Donīt tell me the stories

Bring out the wine
Turn on your ecstasy, ecstasy
Bring out the wine
Bring out my enemy, my enemy
